9 Ways of Maintaining Memory

MANY people who complain that they started small halhal easy to forget or memory decline. Actually, never mind memory loss. The brain can record things like computers. Although, the issue of memory loss can happen because we are not practicing to remember information so that our memory can be lost.
Brain as other parts of the body needs physical exercise and mental bersamasama with specific nutrients to improve memory power. Well, if you want your brain to function optimally, the following 10 things you can do to keep in good memory:

1. Soybean
According to Prof. Sandra Files from Guy's Hospital, London, soy contains isoflavones which can act as estrogen receptors in the human brain, particularly in the hippocampus as an important area for memory so that new nerve connections form more readily.

2. Coffee
Coffee can improve mental performance and memory because of the coffee can stimulate many areas in the brain that can manage to stay awake, arousal, mood and concentration. Research at the University of Arizona found that adults who drink coffee before a memory test showed significant growth compared to those who drank decaffeinated coffee.

Research at Kings College, London and University of Rochester New York showed that the decrease in iron consumption may have a detrimental effect on IQ levels and cognitive function because iron plays an important role in changing signals in the brain.
3. Mental Exercise
Research shows that mental stimulation can maintain healthy brain and improve memory power. People who have a good memory tend to have different wants and can overcome the challenges of mental exercise. Mental exercise can use techniques such as puzzles, tekateki and interest in social and cultural fields.
4. Physical exercise
Half an hour of physical exercise three times a week enough to have an impact on increasing brain power. Exercise can improve the heart's ability to pump blood more effectively.
5. Chewing gum
Japanese researchers found that activity in the hippocampus have peningkaan when people are chewing gum. But Dr. Andrew Scholey of the University of Nothumbria said that chewing gum can increase heart rate which improves the oxygen that is sent to the brain and improve cognitive powers.
6. Ginkgo biloba
Ginkgo biloba is used as a memory tonic for beriburibu years ago. According to Drs. George Lewith ginkgo can improve blood circulation to the brain by raising the blood vessels, thus increasing the oxygen supply.
7. Fish oil
Fish oil contains omega-3 fatty acids which are important components of brain cell membranes and can improve memory power.
8. Rosemary and sage
Oil from this plant can stimulate the memory, strengthen the clarity and awareness and help heal mentally exhausted.
9. Vitamin B
Vitamin B works to send oxygen to the brain and provide protection against damage-free. Vitamin B sharpen and improve memory. Niacin or B3 is very good for strengthening the brain, while B6 is important for the production of neurotransmitters, especially to improve mood. B12 good for overall brain health. Vitamain B is also needed to help the body form acetylcholine, a brain chemical needed for memory. (M18/WIAsC) (sh)
